Testimonials
Nicholas Morrison “I have recently moved to Bexhill on Sea and needed a cornice put into a large, high room in a late Victorian apartment. Taylor & Son responded to the call and delivered an excellent service: outstanding workmanship and exactly the right advice for the cornice that would look the best. I can thoroughly recommend this company.”
Simin Van den Daele “Bryan did an amazing job restoring existing cornicing and then also adding complementary ceiling roses and cornicing internally. He also restored the facade of our house beautifully.”
Sandra Hunnisett “Absolutely thrilled with the plaster coving Taylor & Son made to match sections which were missing. It has transformed the hallway and it’s now impossible to see that we have divided the bedroom to build and en-suite. 100% recommend them, from start to finish the service was impeccable.”

”Brian manufactured and installed all the cornices in a large new house we have had built. These included a variety of mouldings and also the design and manufacture of a trough for an LED strip to illuminate the cornice above. He was a pleasure to deal with and apart from a couple of minor issues that were sorted out without difficulty, the work went well and we are very pleased with the end product. We think it was good value for money as well as being an excellent example of craftsmanship.”

”We had some Victorian style coving replaced in our house and the finished article is fantastic. I was under the impression that this would simply be cut in lengths, secured, corners filled and job done. It was in fact cut to length and then very, very meticulously jointed and filled along both the ceiling and wall line. It took two days to do our room and the workmanship is second to none. Similarly with the rose. This looks amazing and everyone who comes in comments on how amazing it looks. Bryan also repaired some original coving that had pipes drilled through and the repair is seamless. Bryan and his son were really lovely to have in the house too. Very considerate and easy going. When we need more work done we will be back.”

”Had a cracked period ceiling and cornice in various places in my front room. Dropped into shop to discuss options. Appointment made and visit to my house arranged to go through options. In the end decided to get copies of original cornice and rose made, take down original, overboard, replaster, and refit copies. Couldn't be happier with end result - looks absolutely identical to original but without the cracks! Proper family business which is nice to see. Did a great job, over and above. Plan to use again in the future on other rooms in my house.”

”When converting an Edwardian care home back to its original splendour, damaged coving was discovered and others including ceiling rose had to be replaced completely. All this was carried out by Bryan Taylor & Son and the quality of the work was really excellent.”
